The School of Shariah concluded the activities of the visit of its honorary professors, Prof. Dr. Habib Ahmed from the University of Durham and Prof. Dr. Mansoor Ibrahim from the INCEIF University (Malaysia), after four valuable days of exchange of experiences on various topics in the field of Islamic Shari`ah and economic and financial issues. Many academic issues were discussed during this visit, such as activating and upgrading the School of Shariah and Law's journal, opportunities to establish joint programs, transferring professors' experiences and accumulated expertise, coordinating memoranda of understanding and cooperation in the field of scientific research and exchange of academic expertise, in addition to discussing study plans extensively and in detail to align them with the requirements of the labor market in the future.
The professors expressed their great admiration for the warm reception, hospitality and organization. On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Shari`ah and its professors would like to thank His Excellency the President and those responsible for this distinguished initiative and all those who contributed to this distinguished event, which will have positive repercussions on the development of the university and the college and enhance its scientific and international standing.
