Program Specifications

Master In Hadith / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

After completing the requirements for the master's degree in Hadith, the student is expected to be able to:

  1. Have a deep faith in God and His Messenger and show a clear commitment to the teachings of Islam so that this is reflected in his personality, behavior, and dealings.
  2. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the foundations and branches of the science of Hadith, enabling him/her to present an integrated and clear picture of this science.
  3. To demonstrate and analyze the stages of development of the science of Hadith over the course of time and compare and contrast them, explain the development of its terminology.
  4. To analyze, justify, and evaluate the reasons for the differences among the Hadith scholars on some issues of Hadith sciences, and possess the ability to weigh, compare, and contrast.
  5. To acquire the knowledge that qualifies him/her to examine the narrators, whether they are accepted or rejected, and to correct what may be in the judgment of scholars on some Hadiths.
  6. To clarify, analyze and evaluate the reasons for conflicts between Hadiths with a proper approach, and to compare the issues of scientific miracles in hadiths with established facts.
  7. To be able to analyze the Hadith rhetorically and clarify the ambiguous words in some Hadiths.
  8. Communicate effectively and competently with others, especially those who disagree with him, and work well within a team based on the general Islamic principles that call for understanding and cooperation for good.
  9. Employs research methodologies and the tools derived from them in preparing his/her thesis and preparing different types of research related to Hadith
  10. Bear the responsibilities required by the nature of his work, balance the issues, and play his role in serving the nation and developing society through practical programs and lectures that he works to implement. 
  11. To show an interest in continuous professional learning and growth and demonstrates a commitment to acquiring and generating new knowledge and skills using technology and databases effectively.
