After completing the requirements for the bachelor's degree in Foundations of Religion, students are expected to be able to:
- To be characterized by a deep faith in God and His Messenger and shows a clear commitment to the teachings of Islam so that this is reflected in his personality, behavior, aspects and dealings.
- To master the recitation of the Holy Qur'an according to the rules of recitation, and memorize a number of parts.
- To explain and clarify the meanings of Qur'anic verses in a proper way, and develop the skill of clearly explaining the meanings of the verses.
- To demonstrate a deep understanding of the various issues of the science of Hadith, and is able to examine Hadith authenticity after reviewing the statements of scholars and applying the principles of Hadith criticism.
- To perform the Friday sermon in mosques with proficiency, and is able to deal with people and understand the issues that arise between them.
- To refute to the doubts raised against Islam, the Qur'an, and the Sunnah in a scientific manner away from defamation and personal criticism, and to compare the most famous Islamic sects and their principles in general in terms of their origins and approaches, as well as other monotheistic religions, and contemporary intellectual traditions in the East and West.
- To communicate wisely and effectively with others and to persuade them by rational argument and proof, using a wise method away from tension and compulsion, and by following modern educational methods and techniques.
- To use scientific research methods in the Foundations of religion in a way that enables him to write and prepare a research paper at a level acceptable to experts and opinion leaders in this field, and follows the recognized research methods, and progresses in accessing and proving information according to the recognized principles and rules.
- To demonstrate an interest in continuous learning and professional growth and is committed to acquiring and generating new knowledge and skills using technology and databases effectively.
- To communicate effectively with others and works well as part of a team, based on the basic principles of Islamic ethics that call for understanding and consideration of others and accepting and discussing dissenting opinions.
- To carry out their responsibilities as required by the nature of their work, and to balance the issues as a part of serving the nation and developing society.
