Master in Jurisprudence and Its Foundations / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

​Learning outcomes:

After completing the requirements for the master's degree in Jurisprudence and its foundations, the student is expected to be able to:

  1. Have a deep faith in God and His Messenger and show a clear commitment to the teachings of Islam so that this is reflected in his personality, behavior, and dealings.
  2. To identify and resolve conflicts between clear and ambiguous words and the connotations of the texts and work to compromise or resolve them.
  3. To properly employ the rules of semantics in his/her specialty (judge, jurist, mufti).
  4. To apply and synthesize the jurisprudential rulings of issues to reality and issue a legitimate ruling on jurisprudential issues based on correct understanding and sound reasoning.
  5. To solve the provisions of financial transactions and give a ruling on new and contemporary issues.
  6. To apply the spirit of jurisprudential reasoning by identifying the paths of the learned jurists in deriving legal rulings to keep pace with contemporary developments.
  7. To analyze in depth and accurately the contemporary issues in need of legal judgment and express his/her opinion on them objectively by deriving the legal rulings and ethics for them, and to improve the analogy of Islamic legal theory according to its rules and conditions, taking into account accurate knowledge in deriving the reason behind it and its fulfillment in the sub-branch.
  8. To extract the differences between Islamic legal texts and other texts and be able to compare and contrast them.
  9. To compare, analyze, analyze, and combine jurisprudential texts and handle them well in case of conflicts.
  10. Communicate effectively and competently with others, especially those who disagree with him, and work well within a team based on the general Islamic principles that call for understanding and cooperation for good.
  11. To conduct original research in investigating issues related to Jurisprudence and its Foundations in preparing his thesis, and in publishing solid research that includes scientific addition in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  12. To contribute to the planning, preparation and revision of curricula in Islamic education subjects using different models of design in light of the theoretical frameworks of the curricula and the objectives of the stage education.
