Prof. Dr. Dean of the School of Shariah meets with Singaporean students who graduated from the College of Shariah

During his visit to the Republic of Singapore, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Kilani, Dean of the College of Sharia, met with a group of Singaporean students who graduated from the various departments and programs of the College of Sharia on Saturday evening, 03/02/2024, as this meeting was arranged at the initiative of the graduates in appreciation for the science and knowledge they received in this great scientific edifice, and to maintain communication and connection with their university, professors and teachers. The students showed their thanks to the University of Jordan and the College of Sharia, where they studied, received their sciences and graduated with the qualifications that create their bright future and qualify them to join the labor market in countries around the world, or complete their postgraduate studies, and the students who spoke at the meeting thanked the University of Jordan and the Dean of the College for what they found during their studies In addition to the fact that their studies in Jordan provided them with the opportunity to stay, learn, and get to know the kind and generous society and its people, who are always welcoming to the guests of Jordan, and the graduates recalled what is characterized by the College of Sharia and what distinguishes its professors and curricula from the methods of teaching and learning in accordance with the moderate methodology. The graduates recalled what is characteristic of the School of Shariah and what distinguishes its professors and curricula from the methods of teaching and learning according to the moderate middle approach, the courses of authentic and strong contemporary studies, and the scientific presentation far from rigidity or tradition, which simulates the needs of the age through assignments and contemporary applied research in many courses, and the students pointed out the advantage of combining the teaching of science with guidance to morality and behavioral discipline that characterizes many of the lectures of the School of Shariah.  In turn, Prof. Dean thanked the students for this initiative and the arrangement of the meeting and gave them a word of guidance as they are the ambassadors of Jordan and their country at the same time, and to have an impact on their society through the available fields of work, so that each of them leaves an imprint and impact on their students and the institutions in which they join to work, and continue their journey in learning and education and benefit from modern means in science and learning and carry the tolerant, moderate and moderate message of Islam to spread and promote it in contemporary societies. The meeting was attended by Dr. Alaa Al-Din Adawi, Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Religion at the College. At the end of the meeting, the Dean thanked everyone for attending and directed to maintain communication with graduate students through modern and contemporary means of communication.​
