An overview of the program and its main subjects:
The department offers two tracks for awarding a master's degree in Islamic Theology (dissertation or comprehensive exam): The two tracks consist of compulsory and optional subjects that aim to introduce the student to the main themes of theological frameworks in Islam on God, predestination/free will, prophetology, and resurrection in the light of Islamic schools and sects, which also would include comparative religions, contemporary intellectual traditions, philosophy, logic, research methodology, and other complementary topics.

Qualifying graduates specialized in Islamic Theology and well-versed in the fields necessary for understanding it such as logic and philosophy.

Creating a safe scientific environment that serves students of Islamic Theology and keeps pace with new developments and curricula related to it.
