An overview of the program and its main subjects:
The department offers two tracks for awarding a master's degree in Hadith (dissertation or comprehensive exam): This program expands the sciences of Hadith that the student took at the bachelor's degree, and broadens the scope of the sciences that serve Hadith and its sciences, which works to surround the student with the most important scientific, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional elements needed at this stage, and exposes him/her to new titles that he did not study at the bachelor's degree, and it works to consolidate the rules that require the student in multiple aspects, including those related to the terminology of Hadith, examining narrators and their narrations, research and methods. It deals with important sciences such as the hidden issues in Hadith text and addresses the methodologies of the Hadith scholars, and the issues of analyzing, studying and benefiting from Hadith, as well as contemporary topics such as the study of objective Hadith and the Sunnah in contemporary studies.
