An overview of the program and its main subjects:
The department offers two tracks for awarding a master's degree in Tafsir (dissertation or comprehensive exam): the two tracks consist of compulsory and optional subjects that aim to familiarize the student with the Qur'anic sciences and complementary subjects such as: Miraculousness of the Quran and Qur'anic readings, as well as introducing the student to the foundations, approaches, orientations, and types of Qur'anic exegesis: Analytical and thematic, as well as complementary sciences such as language, rhetoric, research and investigation.

Qualifying graduates specialized in Tafsir alongside the related fields necessary for understanding it such as language.

Creating a safe scientific environment that serves students of Tafsir and keeps pace with new developments and curricula related to it.
