Program Specifications

Master in Islamic Judiciary / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

After completing the requirements for the master's degree in Islamic Judiciary, the student is expected to be able to:

  1. Have a deep faith in God and His Messenger and show a clear commitment to the teachings of Islam so that this is reflected in his personality, behavior, and dealings.
  2. To deduce legal rulings from the evidence based on tradition and reason.
  3. To demonstrate a deep and proficient knowledge of the sources of legislation and how to deal with them in the aspect of Sharia judiciary.
  4. To analyze and evaluate family provisions in Islamic law and the jurisprudential foundations on which the Personal Status Law is based.
  5. To analyze and evaluate the components, pillars, and assets of the Sharia judiciary in a scientific manner.
  6. To apply judicial skills in a practical sense.
  7. To assess, evaluate, and develop practical aspects of Sharia procedures in lawsuits and cases.
  8. To Identify and analyze contemporary jurisprudential developments related to family issues and ways to deal with them using critical thinking and problem solving.
  9. To carry out their responsibilities as required by the nature of their work, and to balance the issues as a part of serving the nation and developing society.
  10. Communicate effectively and competently with others, especially those who disagree with him, and work well within a team based on the general Islamic principles that call for understanding and cooperation for good.
  11. To conduct original research in investigating issues related to Islamic Judiciary in preparing his thesis, and in publishing solid research that includes scientific addition in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  12. To contribute to the planning, preparation and revision of curricula in Islamic education subjects using different models of design in light of the theoretical frameworks of the curricula and the objectives of the stage education.
