Suha Al-Subaihi - Within the framework of the distinguished academic relations between the University of Jordan and higher education institutions in Indonesia, Dr. Munir Maher Al-Shater, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Sharia for International Rankings, Accreditation, and Graduate Affairs at the University of Jordan, participated in a scientific visit to Braugaya University, ranked among the top ten universities in Indonesia. The visit came in response to an official invitation from Braugaya University, where Dr. Al-Shater held the position of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Business. He presented a series of distinguished academic contributions, including participating as a keynote speaker at an academic conference on developing the prospects of Islamic economics and finance, in the presence of a select group of researchers and representatives of governmental and academic institutions in Indonesia. He was honored in recognition of his academic contributions. Dr. Al-Shater also led an intensive three-day training program for Master's students in Economics and Finance, most of whom work in the public sector. The program focused on modern scientific research methods and their practical applications. The visit also included providing academic consultations to develop Master's programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Braugaya University, with an emphasis on improving the quality of scientific research and academic excellence standards. This visit is part of the university's efforts to enhance its international presence and strengthen academic cooperation with universities worldwide, based on bilateral agreements between Jordan and Indonesia aimed at exchanging expertise and promoting joint scientific research. It is worth noting that relations between the University of Jordan and higher education institutions in Indonesia have witnessed significant development in recent years through the signing of memoranda of understanding to enhance student and faculty exchange and increase scholarship opportunities in various fields.
