On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Professor Abdul Rahman Al-Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, received a delegation of students from Sakarya University in Turkey, as part of efforts to strengthen academic cooperation and cultural exchange between the two universities.
He welcomed the visiting students, outlining the Faculty's role and its academic mission in serving the nation's causes, its diverse academic programs, and its distinguished efforts in developing Islamic studies and keeping pace with contemporary developments. He noted that the University of Jordan had achieved a remarkable accomplishment by ranking 324th globally in the QS World University Rankings, reflecting its academic excellence and research leadership.
During the meeting, an open dialogue took place between the Dean and the visiting students, covering areas of potential collaboration and the Turkish students' experience studying and familiarizing themselves with the academic environment at the University of Jordan.
The visiting students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome, emphasizing their appreciation for the demonstrated interest and commitment to strengthening academic ties between the two institutions.
