International participation by the School of Sharia at the University of Jordan in a scientific symposium on Islam, law, and civilizational transformations


As part of the School of Sharia at the University of Jordan's commitment to strengthening its international presence and exchanging scientific expertise with international universities, Prof. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Zaid Al-Kilani, Dean of the School of Sharia, participated as a speaker in the international symposium organized by the School of Sharia at the State Islamic University of Raden Intan – Lampung, Indonesia, entitled:


“Islamic, Law and the Transformation of Civilization”
on October 29, 2025, via video conferencing.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Kilani addressed the impact of Islamic values and Sharia legislation on the renaissance of civilizations and the transformation of societies, reviewing historical and contemporary examples that emphasize the centrality of values and justice in cultural development.

This scientific event was attended by a select group of researchers and experts from various Islamic countries, promoting intellectual dialogue and the exchange of ideas on issues of renaissance and development. Dr. Al-Kilani was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his role in this international scientific symposium.
