"Leadership Skills" Lecture by Al-Tawalbah at the University of Jordan

The Faculty of Sharia at the University of Jordan organized a lecture titled "Leadership Skills", delivered by General Dr. Tawfiq Al-Tawalbah, former Director of Public Security. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Kilani, along with several members of the academic and administrative staff, and a group of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from the faculty.

During the lecture, which was moderated by the Dean, Al-Tawalbah discussed various aspects of leadership styles and their impact on institutions. He also addressed the personal, behavioral, and typological traits of leaders, stating that "leaders are born, not made," and emphasized that effective leaders possess independent, rational, and balanced personalities that enable them to make sound decisions even in the most difficult situations.

Speaking to the audience, Al-Tawalbah encouraged humility, hard work, and good morals, affirming that these are essential traits of true leaders. He also outlined the pillars of success on both personal and institutional levels and highlighted the qualities of a successful leader. He pointed out that leadership is not exclusive to men, presenting examples of prominent female leaders at both national and global levels.

At the end of the lecture, Al-Tawalbah listened to students' questions in a rich and engaging discussion on various topics related to leadership skills and attributes. The students expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights and knowledge they gained.

The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Al-Kilani, presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Al-Tawalbah, thanking him for offering the students this opportunity to benefit from his extensive experience as a distinguished leader and seasoned military officer.
